A typical battery creates value in two ways: the Brain lowers your electricity bill, and Axle Energy pays when the battery helps the grid.

Lower electricity bills

We replayed a full year of real Octopus Agile prices (July 2025 to July 2026, region C) through the same optimiser that runs on the Brain.

• One 5.2 kWh usable battery at 88% round-trip efficiency
• Compared with the same home on a 26.11p standard tariff

Axle payments

Axle Energy pays you when the battery charges or exports to help balance the grid. We use ~£200 a year as the estimate; the actual amount depends on event frequency, rates and available battery capacity.

£600–650 is a projection, not a guarantee. Standing charges are unchanged and excluded.
